It’s Maybach’s last hurrah! The Mercedes owned ultra-luxury car brand gets facelifted versions of the 57 and 62, both of which debuted at the 2010 Beijing Motor Show.

Changes are extremely limited, however, and include a new chrome radiator grille, new LED equipped lights front and rear and restyled side mirrors.

The car’s also get new 21 inch alloy wheels, while inside drivers get a wireless internet connection, and passengers new 19 inch tv screens.

Both cars are powered by a new V12 engine, offering 542bhp.

However, while there was plenty of interest in the car from local visitors to the Beijing show, bosses have privately admitted plans to wind down the brand – resurrected in 2002 – due to disappointing sales The Maybach decision is part of Mercedes’ wider plans to take the next-generation S-Class upmarket.

The new S is set to arrive in 2014, and promises to be one of the most hi-tech models ever built. Mercedes top brass have already signed off features such as the futuristic Human Machine Interface, which debuted in the F800 Style concept unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show

Looks like a budget far eastern car

This Maybach looks really cheap. Looks like something the Koreans or Chinese produced in the 80's & 90's when trying to copy Merc. Therefore, should go down well in China!!
