British supercar manufacturer Aston Martin is gearing up to take its customer service into uncharted territories. In an effort to make its supercars more exclusive than ever before, the firm is set to offer a bespoke design serivce to drivers after something totally unique.
At first glance, the Aston in our picture appears to be simply a facelifted version of the 6.0-litre V12-powered DBS. But on closer inspection it appears the manufacturer is up to something very different.
This particular prototype which was spied testing at the Nurburgring, features a never before seen, sleek front splitter, which according to insiders could be part of a specially designed aero kit. As a result it makes more sense that this mule is actually being evaluated by Aston engineers to see how well the new aero additions are working with the car.
The extra scope for customisation would mean new Aston buyers would have the power to kit their cars out with all manner of additions.
With prices for the DBS starting from £168,000, it is unlikely the extra aerodynamic options will come cheap.
