Bon Anniversaire Peugeot! To celebrate its 200th birthday the firm has launched a 200bhp version of the 308 hatchback and it comes with a free satellite navigation-enabled smartphone.

The 308 GT THP 200 uses the 200bhp 1.6-litre THP turbocharged petrol engine from the RCZ coupe, making it by far the most powerful 308 on sale.

Offering a discreet appearance, the GT features a revised front bumper, black rear diffuser and twin chrome exhaust pipes.

The interior benefits from Payerne black half-leather sports seats, a black lacquered fascia panel, leather sports steering wheel and aluminium pedals, footrest and gearknob.

Costing £21,995, the GT achieves CO2 emissions of159g/km. Buyers of the GT in July will also receive a free Nokia 5230 smartphone and mounting kit which effectively doubles up as a satellite navigation with free map updates.

The car comes in six body colours including Bianca White, Nera Black, Aluminium, Shark Grey, Ipanema Blue and Babylon Red.
