Jeep announces Grand Cherokee special

Limited-run Grand Cherokee goes on sale before new model arrives.

Jeep Grand Cherokee S-Limited

14th July 2010

Next year sees the arrival of a new Jeep Grand Cherokee. So the firm has loaded up its existing car with extra kit to clear space in its showrooms. Just 250 Grand Cherokee S-Limited models will be made available, with prices starting from £33,995.

Using the Limited-spec as its base, for an additional £2,000, the S-Limited adds a glut of leather and aluminium extras to improve both interior and exterior appearance.

The exterior features body-coloured sill extensions and grille, HID headlamps, a rear spoiler, and unique 18-inch 'Arrowhead' design alloys, inspired by the high performance SRT version.

Interior enhancements include a leather steering wheel and gearknob, aluminium bezel trim inserts, aluminium-finish pedals, and a leather covered dashboard binnacle, whilst the front and rear seats are now heated and come trimmed in slate grey leather with suede inserts.

The car comes in four colours – Brilliant Black, Bright Silver, Dark Carbon and Modern Blue – but just one engine features, the 3.0-litre diesel which produces 215bhp.
