Ferrari is promising all the fun of the fare at its new Abu Dhabi theme park. Located on Yas Island, along with the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 track, the attraction will become the largest indoor theme park in the world when it opens on 28th October.
The 200,000-square-metre red roof houses more than 20 rides, including the four dimensional Speed of Magic journey and the Formula Rossa rollercoaster which will hit speeds of up to 150mph.
Other highlights incude Made in Maranello, which offers a virtual tour of the Ferrari factory, the Fiorano GT Challenge, which is a unique duelling rollercoaster with Ferrari F430 Spiders; and the Bell’Italia – a miniature recreation of Italy’s most famous locations, including Portofino and the Amalfi Coast, the Monza racetrack, the Colosseum in Rome, Venice and Maranello.

This will be a worlds first!!
The first rollercoaster with a hard shoulder for the cars to pull into when they break down in a latin huff!!
you can't really imagine Aston doing this...
I am Italian and am not a fan of Ferrari at the beat of time (totally up their own arses in my opinion) and this just reinforces this. An attraction that only rich gits can afford. Oh no i am not bitter cos i am not rich, just did not like having my camera "kicked out of my hand" by the security guard in the venice shop for taking a picture of my son next to a 5 year old F1 car?
Well the 150mph coaster sounds interesting.
Duelling coasters is not unique - anyone ever been on the "Grand National" at Blackpool Pleasure Beach ? Built in 1926, and 2 coasters that race each other.
