SEAT puts price on Ibiza ST

Three certainly isn’t a crowd for SEAT. The firm has officially announced that the third member of its Ibiza family, the ST estate, is on sale now, with prices ranging from £12,070 to £14,910.

The newcomer joins the three-door Ibiza SC and conventional five-door in the line-up, and boasts a 430-litre load space, which is an extra 138-litres over the latter car.

Two petrol and two diesel units will be available. Kicking off the range is the 1.4-litre petrol, and topping it is the 1.2-litre TSI that’s available with either a manual or DSG gearbox.

The diesel options are a 1.2-litre common rail unit, which can also be had as an Ecomotive model which emits 92 g/km and returns fuel economy of 80.7 mpg, and a 1.6-litre TDI with 104bhp.

Buyers will have the choice of three trims – S A/C, SE and Sport – and all models feature plenty of standard kit, including air conditioning, a four-speaker MP3-compatible stereo, electric front windows; roof rails, and remote central locking.
