Things are hotting up at Audi! This striking machine is the work of Swedish industrial designer Mikael Lugnegård, who has mixed traditonal American 'chop-shop' themes around a modified Audi grille – creating a very mean looking hot rod in the process.
Although the 'Gent's Racer' concept car exists only on a computer, if it were to hit the street it would feature a carbon fibre body, an aluminum spaceframe, Ohlins suspension and Brembo brakes. Power would come from the R8's 5.2-litre V10, but driving the rear wheels instead of all four.
Inside Lugnegård says the cabin would be clad in carbon fibre, aluminium and Alcantara. "The intended market is basically a pro racer who wants something classy for his personal trackday, as well as for driving to the new, exclusive restaurant down town with his lady," said Lugnegård.
