Meet the fastest car to wear the famous Griffin badge. Based on a 1967 Vauxhall Victor FD, the newly-built drag car features a highly tuned 8.8-litre twin turbocharged GM V8 that produces 3,000bhp. And it’s still street legal!
Called Red Victor 3, the car will make its debut at this Bank Holiday weekend’s VXR Power Festival at Silverstone, and will make its competition debut in next season’s MSA Pro-Modified Drag Racing season.
When complete, Red Victor 3’s creator, Andy Frost, claims it should be capable of sprinting from 0-240mph in 6.5 seconds.
If you’d like to see Red Victor 3 in the metal, we have teamed up with our sister mag EVO to bring you an exclusive FREE digital magazine that tells you more about the VXR event, has a great racing game to play, and if you book online you’ll save 33 per cent on the gate price.
