It’s high fives all round for Citroen. The French firm is celebrating after its new C4 achieved a maximum five star score in the latest round of Euro NCAP safety tests.
What’s more, the C4 achieved a 97 per cent score in the Safety Assist category, which measures whether a car has an electronic speed limiter, stability control and a seat belt reminder for all seats, and whether each item is included as standard.
The C4 will go on sale in the UK early in 2011 and features safety kit like ABS with EBD, six airbags and a segment-first blind-spot monitoring system.
Euro NCAP also announced results for the latest Suzuki Swift, Hyundai ix35 and hybrid Honda CRZ, all of which scored the maximum five stars.
