Porsche has confirmed that every one of the 500 911 GT2 RS models has been sold. And it’s no surprise, as the car is the most powerful, high-performance model that the firm has ever built.
Watch the new 911 GT3 Cup racer put through its paces here.
The GT2 RS debuted at the Moscow Auto Salon on August 25th, and it took just under two months for every GT2 RS to be accounted for.
Porsche is particularly proud of the RS and how it “embodies what Porsche Intelligent Performance stands for.”
Despite the fact that the 3.6-litre flat-six engine’s power has gone up by 89bhp, and the car can sprint from 0-62mph in just 3.5 seconds, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions have been reduced by about five per cent compared to the standard 911 GT2.
