Lexus IS Advance specials

Plenty of extra kit on offer for buyers of Lexus’ £25k BMW 3-Series rival.

Lexus has introduced IS Advance special edition versions of its 250 and 200d saloons.

Taking the SE spec as a base, the firm has added a hard disc drive sat nav, rear parking camera, heated seats, front and rear parking sensors, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers and an auto-dimming rear view mirror.

Despite all the extra kit, the Advance IS 250 costs an extra £340 compared its £26,495 SE equivalent, with the IS 200d coming in at an additional £130, costing £24,995.

Lexus is also keen to point out that if you compare the V6-powered IS 250 Advance spec like for like, it’s cheaper than either the BMW 320i and 325i SE, and the IS 200d diesel undercuts both the BMW 318d SE and the Audi A4 2.0 TDI 140 Technik.
