Volvo has chopped a useful £1,300 off the price of its sleek C30. The Swedish firm is now offering the entry-level model for £14,995, claiming that the reduced price frees up buyers to select more options and “create their own individual car.”
The entry-level C30 features a 143bhp 2.0-litre petrol engine and comes with climate control, 16-inch alloys and a stereo with an aux input.
Options include styling kits, portable sat-navs and tow bars, while, for those after more performance, Volvo is promoting its link with Swedish motorsport firm Polestar.
The firm offers fully warranted tuning products for a range of Volvo’s cars. The entry-level model can’t be tuned, but for £645, power of the top-spec C30 T5 can be boosted from 227bhp to 247bhp and torque from 320Nm to 370Nm.
