Spot the difference! This prototype version of the new Zafira Tourer was snapped by our spies and the shots reveal the production car is essentially unchanged from the concept revealed at the
Geneva Motor Show.
Despite the camouflage, the upside down 'blade' on the car's flanks can still be seen along with the stylish headlights and raked side windows – although these aren't quite as narrow as the concept's windows.
Our pictures don't reveal any further details on the interior, but the Zafira will certainly get an evolution of the Flex7 seating arrangement. This will mean that at the push of a button, the centre seat in the middle row folds to reveal a pair of armrests in the outer chairs. These seats can then slide back and towards each other to increase space, while extending footrests enhance comfort further.
The Zafira Tourer Concept was powered by a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine featuring Start/Stop technology, and it's likely that this unit will feature in the production line-up too.
The luxurious new Zafira will sit above the current model in Vauxhall's line-up and will act as a rival to Ford's S-MAX. Today's Zafira will get a minor facelift to keep it looking fresh.
