Another retro inspired theme is carried on in the JK-8, which take its styling cues from the Jeep Scrambler CJ-8 from the 80s. Mopar have ticked all the boxes for the Jeep enthusiasts with their bright yellow all terrain DIY pick-up truck kit. Mopar will be selling all the parts off the shelf, which includes all the modified body panels and off road bumpers to convert a standard Wrangler Unlimited into a pick-up truck.

Designed to take on the challenging King of the Hammers desert race in California, the Blue Crush is kitted out with huge 39-inch tyres along with a hardcore off-roading suspension set-up. Power comes from a monstrous 7-litre aluminium V8 HEMI engine which churns out 540bhp.

3. Cherokee Overland

Designed to tackle the safari climes, the Overland features a custom made roof rack for any bulky equipment and decorated to blend in with the wildlife. Underneath the car there’s protection from the rocky terrain in the form of skid plates, along with a towing kit and an air compressor in the boot accompanied by a fridge.

Mopar has removed the doors, bumpers and bootlid to make way for sporty additions including an aluminium roll cage, bumpers, flared wheel arches and even a carbon fibre bonnet. To add the racing appeal there’s also a pair of Sparco bucket seats and a set of Blistein performance shock absorbers. All these modifications have shed 386kg.
