Four means a whole lot more at Kia! The Korean firm has just released a top-spec version of its pro_ceed hatchback, the pro_cee’d ‘4’. which gains an extra 13bhp above the standard 1.6 diesel, while still managing to squeeze into the £30 Road Tax band.
Now producing 126bhp at 4000rpm the pro_cee’d ‘4’ ekes out 62.8mpg and comes with a raft of extra equipment including full black leather upholstery, front heated seats, fully integrated sat nav with a seven inch colour touch screen and European maps and a reversing camera displayed on the sat nav screen.
Bluetooth can also be operated through the touch screen and is capable of downloading directories from up to eight mobile phones. On the outside the pro_cee’d ‘4’ comes with the trademark 'Schreyer' grille, 17 inch alloy wheels, black bezel headlights and privacy glass.
This more powerful pro_cee’d accelerates to 60mph in just over 10 seconds and tops out at 122mph, and prices start at £18,495 including Kia’s seven year, fully transferable 100,000 mile warranty. At the cheaper end of the cee’d scale is the five-door cee’d VR-7 - which costs just £11,495, a saving of £780 over the standard list price.
