With this year’s New York Motor Show only a few days away, Infiniti is teasing its fans with these brand new sketches of its new crossover concept set to go on sale early next year.
The luxury crossover, which will be named the JX, will get three rows of seats throughout the cabin so expect plenty of room for large families and lots of passengers.
Due to make its official world debut this August at the 2011 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, Infiniti claims that the car's design inspiration comes from nature, while the "crescent cut" greenhouse outline has been influenced by the Infiniti Essence concept car.
According to Ben Poore, vice president of Infiniti Americas, "There aren't a lot of choices for luxury families today. The all-new Infiniti JX is the seven passenger antidote to the ho-hum luxury crossovers that are out there right now." Poore went on to say that the JX will get a stunning interior, great seating flexibility, easy access to the spacious third row of seats and the very technologies.
The production version will debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November before appearing in showrooms in spring 2012.
