We bring you the good the bad and the ugly from the Worthersee GTI tuning festival in Austria.

Now in it's 30th year, the Worthersee GTI festival has become a Mecca for Volkswagen GTI owners - and more recently SEAT, Skoda and Audi owners too. Every year it throws up wild concepts, presented officially by the manufacturers, and 2011 was no exception.

Audi wowed the crowds with its 496bhp A1 Clubsport quattro - featuring four-wheel drive and and a 2.5-litre turbocharged engine tuned to within an inch of its life. Read the full story here.

Skoda meanwhile were busy chopping the roof off its Fabia Super 2000 rally car to create a four-seater speedster concept.

What the fans really turned up to see though was the Golf - and VW didn't disapoint with R and GTI versions of its recently launched Golf Cabriolet, hinting at possible future production models. Read about the drop-top duo here.
