BMW's M Division is keen to prove that it's back on form with the new 1 M Coupé - and this new video is a great showcase for the baby M Car's playful nature.
Produced by BMW's Canadian arm, it shows the new car powersliding its way through a series of CGI obstacles, and although it might not quite be as good (or dangerous) as doing the stunt for real, it's still a hugely impressive piece of driving skill.

Its funny how the current 1 series now looks so good when you compare it to the Ultimate Ugly Machine it is being replaced with!!
I wonder how many times they had to rehearse that. (lol)
Not as good as the VOD BMW 'The Hire' videos, but then they don't have Clive Owen in them and this one was not made by such well known producers as they were.
Great video all the same. Love the way he gets the car to drift through the cut-out's and it sounds great inside and out. I wasn't sure about this car when we first saw pictures of it. Would it translate to a good car, a desirable one like the M3... it's growing on me fast.
For those lucky enough to be able to afford one, in London, it'll be better received than an M3 I bet. It's size would -I assume- lend it a more favourable reaction from those who really -for some odd reason- dislike BMW drivers. Although, on the grapevine, I hear Audi drivers are taking over that mantle.
