Just days after MINI revealed the new Coupe they have released this video of the John Cooper Works Coupé Endurance. A one-off special, it will race at the Nürburgring 24-hour challenge which takes place this weekend.

The car’s 1.6-litre turbocharged is tuned to 247bhp and 330Nm of torque while other modifications include race suspension with adjustable shock absorbers and an aerodynamic kit. The latter includes a new front spoiler, rear diffuser and adjustable wing. Inside is a roll cage, sport seats and a six-point safety harness have been fitted too.

I like the idea of this car. It has its heart in the right place unlike the countryman which should not be called a Mini. It should be called a Maxi. And its about as pretty as a Maxi.
This is a cute little car and the JCW should be a blast to drive. Too girlie for a guy to own though.
The Mini has finally lost it's charm and become the every boy racers dream car as the coupe looks like something made up from a video game, more of a go cart than a car, as if we need more boy racers on the road!
