Hands-free Kits' Hidden Danger

Using a mobile phone while driving has been banned, but the facia brackets that handsets sit in could also be a danger.

Independent automotive testing firm MIRA says the brackets become damaged in crashes, creating sharp edges which could cause injury to passengers. It warned drivers to look for EU approval logos on products.
