Speed Claims Miss The Point

Hopes for a cut in the number of penalty points for drivers' minor offences seem premature.

A Home Office spokesman rejected claims that motorists driving just over speed limits may get two points, rather than the present three. "We don't have a review in place to look at it," he explained.
