Phone Parking's mPressive Start

A Pioneering scheme that allows motorists to pay for parking via mobile phone has proved twice as popular as expected.

Edinburgh drivers are buying more than 100 tickets a day via their handsets, and around 1,400 people have signed up to the scheme, called mPark. Payment is by credit card, via the mobile. Bosses expect to top their target of 4,000 users for this year.
