Concept Truck

From a production Mercedes to a new concept - trucks like these will be ploughing up and down the motorway within 10 years, according to the firm. A spokesman told us: "The truck was penned by our own in-house team in Germany, which wanted to come up with a totally new tractor cab. It has been designed to be much more aerodynamic than current units."

Mercedes is remaining tight-lipped about the interior, but the last time it created a concept lorry, in 1992, a joystick replaced the steering wheel and the driver sat in the middle of the cab.
