Brits Clock Up The Miles

The amount of traffic on UK roads is still going up, rising by 1.4 per cent last year. Department for Transport figures show British motorists drove a staggering total of 306billion miles in 2003. That's an increase of 26.3billion - or eight per cent - in the past five years.
