'Diet' Roadster Coming

If the Smart Roadster isn't minimalist enough for you, then a new entry- level version might be just right. Called the Roadster Light, the ΂£11,995 car has the same 80bhp engine as pricier versions, but rides on steel wheels, has a hard-top instead of a cabrio roof and does away with the sports seats. There's a choice of six body panel colours, so customers can tailor the vehicle to their personality. Initially 400 cars will be available from next month.
