Footballers and pop stars watch out - if your car windows are tinted, you could be prosecuted.

The crackdown follows a law change. Old legislation said windscreen and front door glass had to let in at least 75 per cent of light, but drivers got round this with stick-on tints. The new law covers everything, and threatens ΂£2,000 fines.
