Meet SID, who's about to become an international lifesaver as the first global crash test dummy.

He has been developed over the last seven years - with the help of car makers in Europe, North America and the Far East - by the International Organisation for Standardisation. There are currently several 'adult male' dummies in use, but WorldSID (Side Impact Dummy) is to become the standard.
