Drivers on one UK motorway are being watched by clever cats' eyes which can see how fast they're travelling. If traffic speeds suddenly fall, the 'spy studs' make other cats' eyes nearby shine more brightly, to warn of the hazard ahead. The first trial, on Scotland's M8, aims to make roads safer.
