In-car Smoking Ban

Lighting up in company cars will be illegal from the end of March - but only in the Irish Republic. A ban on workplace smoking takes effect then and, according to the Health and Safety Authority, cars are "enclosed workplaces". Employers failing to comply risk a 3,000 euro (΂£2,000) fine.
