You don't have to look hard to see there's virtually no difference between the S΃©same concept of the 2002 Paris Motor Show and the road car that's to debut at the same event this year. Although Peugeot has removed the spare wheel from the tailgate, and fitted a metal roof, rather than a glass one, the models share the same proportions and details. Even the tail-lights are near-identical.

The key differences are limited to new badging across the rear, black plastic rather than metal door handles and new wheels. However, the interior is perhaps the greatest clue to the newcomer's character. The garish colours are likely to be dropped, but the four-seat interior, luxurious fittings and spacious boot are all destined for production.
