Vauxhall Tames Its Wild Zafira
For those who want a sporty people carrier but find the 200bhp Zafira GSi a little too quick, Vauxhall has created a slightly tamer version, badged SRi.

The new model is available with a choice of three engines: a 125bhp 1.8-litre or 147bhp 2.2-litre petrol powerplant, as well as a 2.0-litre DTi diesel putting out 99bhp.
Although the newcomer shares its sporty chassis set-up with its more powerful stablemate, it's distinguished by unique SRi styling. The Zafira is priced from £18,295.
