Tino Sales Soaring

Nissan's Tino might be one of the oldest mini-MPVs available, but demand has shot up so much that the firm has increased production. "It even surprised us. Some Tinos now have a three-month waiting list," said a spokesman. The surge has been caused by rivals growing in size, leaving a niche for the Nissan among buyers seeking something smaller. Sales to April this year are almost double the same period in 2003.
