Company car motorists covered 400million fewer miles last year in the UK, after tax rules reduced the incentive to rack up the miles. As a result, says the Inland Revenue, businesses have saved ΂£35million a year and 200,000 tonnes less carbon emissions have been released into the atmosphere.
