SEAT has released prices for its new Altea MPV. On sale in July, the range will start off with the 1.6-litre petrol-engined Reference model, at £12,850, while the flagship Sport 2.0 TDI, with VW's DSG clutchless gearshift, will be £15,500.

Other engine choices include a 2.0-litre petrol unit and a frugal 1.9-litre TDI diesel. Also announced are the prices for the new Ibiza Cupra. It costs £15,500 in petrol form and £16,000 for the oil-burner.
