Historic Plant Goes Flat

Britain's oldest car factory is to become a block of flats. The Madelvic Car plant in Edinburgh was built in 1899 to produce the Electric Brougham. However, only a handful of vehicles - which were driven by a unique battery-powered fifth wheel - were ever made.
