Council's Used Car Ban

A town council looks set to ban the sale of second-hand cars on many of its streets. Highways chiefs in Scarborough, East Yorks, are fed up with rows of battered vehicles being offered for as little as £100 - and they believe many of the cars are being sold by dealers rather than private individuals.
