C5 Gets Fresh For Paris

Not everyone wants something as small as a C1 - and Citroen has not forgotten its larger models. The French firm will not only unveil the all-new C4 in the metal for the first time at September's Paris Motor Show, but it will also pull the covers off the facelifted C5.

27th August 2004

The first picture of the estate version shown in this week's issue reveals the sharper styling front and rear, and the Peugeot 407 rival will also get a revised interior. Equipment levels will be boosted by a new lane departure warning system, plus xenon headlights. Fresh six-speed manual and automatic gearboxes will be offered, while safety kit includes new knee protecting airbags and revised ESP stability control.
