Cars Crack As Roads Go To Pot

Roads riddled with potholes are to blame for a 47 per cent rise in car suspension failures over the past five years.

Figures from Warranty Direct show Scottish routes are the worst, with 35 per cent of claims in the past 12 months down to damage caused by bad roads. East Anglia is the poorest English region, with nearly 20 per cent of claims including suspension damage.
