Buyers Get Screen Debut

Smile please, you're on camera! The MINI is getting new front and rear parking aids as part of changes for the upcoming 2005 model year. The cameras, which supply images to a screen mounted in the centre of the speedometer, are hidden inside the front spoiler and the housing for the rear number plate lamp.

Other upgrades for the 2005 MINI range will include a new closer-ratio five-speed gearbox, plus a slightly revised interior, featuring wider door bins and an additional cup-holder, which will clip on to the side of the centre console.
