Peugeot's new 107 will make its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2005. Smaller than the 1007 supermini-MPV, the newcomer will be powered by a choice of new 1.0-litre and 1.2-litre petrol engines, or the existing 1.4-litre HDi diesel. It's expected to cost from £6,000 when it goes on sale here late next year. Pictures of it can be seen in this week's issue.

The 107 shares its underpinnings with the forthcoming Citroen C1 and Toyota Aygo, all of which will be built at the same factory in the Czech Republic. Geneva 2005 is set to be a city car extravaganza, with all three new models due to be unveiled there.
