UK's Number One Picks Up A Fresh Look

Britain's top-selling pick-up is the Mitsubishi L200, and this official sketch gives strong clues as to how the next-generation version will look. It's the Raider, a US-market truck, and it debuts at next month's Detroit Motor Show. A UK spokeswoman for the firm told us: "The front end of the next L200 is very similar to this."

UK sales of the current model should hit 13,000 this year - a third of all new trucks bought. The new L200 will appear at September's Frankfurt Motor Show, before going on sale in spring 2006.
