HGVs' Fast Lane Ban

Motorway outside lanes should be clearer from this month, as goods vehicles weighing more than 3.5 tonnes are banned from them. A new EU law also forces all new big vans to be fitted with speed limiters that restrict them to 56mph - but neither rule will affect most 'white vans', as they're not heavy enough.
