Jail Warning For Camera Conman

If you'd consider lying about who was driving after being flashed by a Gatso, be warned. A man who falsely claimed that someone else committed the offence has been given a five-month jail sentence, suspended for two years.

Russell Wilman, of Market Overton, Rutland, admitted to perverting the course of justice after his deception was uncovered. Police said the punishment sent a strong message to other motorists.
