Teenage Drivers Face Big Brother

Mums and dads worried about their teenagers borrowing the family car could rest easier with a new dash spy. It sends them a phone message when it detects bad driving.

SafetyCenter records the car's every movement. The data can be analysed later to see what speeds have been reached, but can also text the parents' mobile if it spots unusual braking. The Israeli gadget is to be tested in the UK by a company car fleet before going on sale.
