Detector Ban Battle

A company selling speed camera detectors is threatening to take the Government to court if it proceeds with plans to ban the dash devices. Derby-based Car Parts Direct is demanding compensation of ΂£100 per motorist who owns a detector if the law changes, and vows to continue its battle against the policy U-turn.
