For buyers who demand the tough looks of an off-roader but don't need 4x4 capability, Hyundai now offers a two-wheel-drive version of its Tucson.

Priced from ΂£13,995, the car (image) is powered by a 2.0-litre petrol unit and, with 35.3mpg, is more frugal than the 4WD model. Badged GSI, it comes with six airbags, a CD player and alloys as standard.
