Inspired by the firm's F1 technology, the car - badged LF-A at the US expo - will be the last word in hi-tech gadgetry. A sequential gearbox is also planned, as are race suspension, carbon brakes and adjustable aerodynamics. As you can see, the concept has no wing mirrors, instead using TV cameras and small screens to broadcast a view of what's happening behind.
Meanwhile, with a new GS already revealed, the firm is expected to pull the wraps from the IS replacement at the Geneva Motor Show in March. Inspired by the LF-C, which debuted at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2003, the new IS is aiming to take sales from BMW's new 3-Series and Audi's latest A4.
The firm will then turn its attention to the LS flagship and RX SUV. All models are likely to get V6 and V8 petrol/ electric hybrid units and an uprated range of four and six-cylinder diesels.
