VW Takes Action On Explosive Ad

A spoof Internet advert showing a suicide bomber blowing himself up in a Polo has landed its maker in hot water with VW.

02nd February 2005

In the clip, which borrows the slogan "Polo. Small but tough", the explosion is kept inside the car and passers-by aren't injured. VW has taken legal advice on the matter.
