DVLA Rapped For Out-of-date Files

DVLA rapped for out-of-date files A third of all the cars logged at the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency could have incorrect details, it has been claimed. That would be a staggering 10 million vehicles.

A National Audit Office report criticised the organisation for being slow to update records, which are used by police to trace vehicle owners. The DVLA refuted the claims, saying the report was based on a survey conducted in 2003.
