One Engine Size Fits All?

Multiple engine options may soon disappear from spec lists. Manufacturers will fit all cars in a model range with the same capacity unit, but alter their power output using the ECU, claims Martin Illsley, director of research at technology company Accenture. The move could help to reduce production costs.
